  • During our sessions, you can expect a safe, nonjudgemental space where you will be heard and understood. While there will be work involved to help you achieve your goals, I am interested in hearing your story and understanding how I can be of the most help to you at this time. • You can expect that your information is protected with a HIPAA compliant secure online platform for all notes and virtual sessions. It will be my legal and ethical duty to make sure your information is protected as I believe that will also be the best way to foster trust and rapport. However, in the case of abuse to a child or elderly person, risk of harm to self, or risk of harm to others, confidentiality will need to be broken to keep you and everyone else around you safe.

  • Faith integration is always client-led. When desired, I incorporate Scripture, Christian principles, and prayer alongside evidence-based therapy to support your emotional and spiritual well-being.

  • You do not need to be a Christian to attend Selah Christian Mental Health Counseling. I am comfortable providing therapy to Christians, non-Christians, and people of other faiths. Although my faith shapes my worldview and practice, my goal is to do my best to honor the worldview you bring while helping you achieve mental health wellness.
